Bum Jun (Todd) Park
I am from South Korea but have been studying abroad since I was 14 years old. My journey abroad started with a 1-year student exchange program in Pennsylvania before I attended a NJROTC high school in Florida. Georgia Institute of Technology was home for the next 7 years where I finished my bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
Currently, I am working for Facebook as a Solutions Engineer to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
My currnet interests are Unversial Design (such as, Web Accessibility ) and Serverless Web applications . I strongly believe in Donald A, Norman's quote from The Design of Everyday Things: "Good design is actually a lot harder to notice than poor design, in part because good designs fit our needs so well that the design is invisible,..." Creating a well designed product requires a lot of research on users. Most importantly, need to remember the targeted users' needs and thought processes
